Nutrience Care® Oral Health is a dog food designed to promote good dental and oral health for your dog. The Oral Health kibble is formulated using Denta Crunch™ technology: an oversized kibble, made with a unique blend of insoluble fibers, designed to encourage your dog to chew thoroughly. This mechanical action will help clean your dog’s teeth, maintain good oral hygiene, and fight plaque and tartar build-up. In addition to caring for your dog’s special needs, Nutrience has taken great strides to ensure your dog’s care is delivered in the form of a high-quality, gluten-free kibble, made of healthy, wholesome ingredients.

All ingredients in this formula are chosen with Care. Most dental formulas on the market use cellulose as a source of insoluble fiber. Cellulose is a by-product of the pulp and paper industry; wood chips are chemically digested to obtain cellulose present in the plant’s cell wall. Nutrience uses a natural grass called Miscanthus. Miscanthus grass is a sustainably farmed plant that is purposefully harvested for its insoluble fiber. Miscanthus grass is simply sun-dried and ground before being added to the food.

The importance of a good digestive system and healthy gut flora cannot be overstated when it comes to proper nutrient absorption. That’s why every bag of Nutrience Care® includes Digestiboost – made with ingredients like pumpkin, chicory root, turmeric and ginger to help support overall gut health.

FEEDING GUIDELINES:

Nutrience Care® Oral Health benefits dogs of all adult breeds. Every dog is unique. Your dog may require more or less food depending on breed, life stage, activity level, and environment. Simply start with our recommendations, adjust as needed, and make sure to always have fresh water available.

TRANSITIONING TO NUTRIENCE:

It is important to gradually transition your dog from one food to another. Start with a proportion of 25% Nutrience to 75% old food. Slowly change the proportions over the next 5 to 7 days by gradually increasing the amount of Nutrience and decreasing the amount of the old food.

I just received my sample bag of Nutrience Oral care dog food. She was very intrigued with the smell of the package, but when I read the ingredients I was sure that she would turn her nose up at them. I threw one along the floor for her (she likes to pretend she is stalking her food) and although she played football with it for awhile, ended up laying on the floor staring it at for about 10 minutes. She finally decided to try it...and LOVED it! Going as far as to beg for another couple! For sure I will be buying more of this for her. She is so picky, it's often hard to know what she will like so I am very, very grateful that you offered this sample bag so we could check it out first.
