Feeding Guide
Please use our feeding calculator for feeding recommendations.
Nutrience Subzero benefits cats of all breeds and life stages. The quantity of food your cat requires is dependent upon size, age, activity level and environment. Simply start with our recommendations, adjust as needed and make sure to always have fresh water available.
It is important to gradually transition your cat from one food to another. Start with a proportion of 25% Nutrience to 75% old food. Slowly change the proportions over the next 5 to 7 days by gradually increasing the amount of Nutrience and decreasing the amount of the old food.
I've been feeding Sub Zero prairie red to my 17 yrs old cat for the past 5 mths.. He's in great shape and I think the recipe is great.. He seems to have an allergic reaction to chicken and grains so finding the perfect blend isn't easy.. So I'm very grateful for this one.. Here is my only complaint; I use to buy small bags (2k) and there was plenty of freeze dry bits in every portion.. He loved it.. But now that I buy bigger bags (5k) I can't barely find any! .. at 1st I thought they might be at the bottom for the bag.. But no.. then another bag and still barely any! Is there a ratio, should I go back to smaller bags or buy freeze dry bits to add them to the mix? .. seems like a strong selling point of the blend.. there should be some in every bowl! Anyhow that's my 2 cents.. Still, thanks for this great recipe 😊
Absolutely love the Prairie Red. My one cat loves raw and the other hates it. I love that they enjoy this food. Fur is amazing and way less dander. Overall healthier in appearance and energy levels.
Decided to try a new cat food, my cat has been on the same brand since he was kitten. I was worried he would be addicted to his old food but oh my god as soon as he got his first bite it was game over for the old cat food. His coat is so healthy now, he’s put on weight really well. I thought the old food was good, but I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything else now
We switched our two cats to SubZero Prairie Red and both love this dry food! It improved their fur and coat, and my youngest cat is back to a healthy weight. I didn't want to go 100% raw so Sub Zero is a great option.
My cat devours this. Love that it is a Canadian company too. Bison and boar in this recipe, my cat eats better than me! haha
Recently purchased this food to try something new with my cats and was glad I did. This is by far their favourite cat food and I am happy knowing they are eating quality food.
