Are Care Supplements Right for Your Dog or Cat?
Where are the supplements made?
Our supplements are proudly made in Quebec, Canada at our very own Hagen Industries.
Can dog supplements be given to cats and vice versa?
All our supplements are specific to dogs or cats. A dog supplement should not be fed to a cat and a cat supplement should not be fed to a dog.
Can I give my pet more than one type of supplement?
It’s often safe to combine different Nutrience supplements as the active ingredients are different from one supplement to the next. It’s always best to consult with a veterinarian to ensure that your pet is getting the right supplementation based on their needs and considering any pre-existing medical conditions and medications they are currently taking.
Can I use Nutrience supplements if my pet is on medication?
It’s important to consult your veterinarian before starting any new supplementation if your pet is currently taking any medication, has a veterinarian-prescribed diet, or has a pre-existing medical condition.
If I’m already feeding a Nutrience Care formula, can I also add a supplement with the same function?
(e.g. feeding the Calm & Comfort dry or wet food and adding the Calming supplement)?
Yes, it is safe to feed a Nutrience Care formula (dry or wet) in conjunction with a Nutrience Care supplement that is designed to address the same issue. Read more.
Can I give the supplements to a puppy or a kitten?
Our supplements are specifically designed for supporting the health of adult and senior pets and as such, should not be given to puppies, kittens, as well as pregnant or lactating animals.
