More and more often we are seeing celebrities becoming animal advocates. Whether it’s rallying to stop animal testing, or raising awareness about pet adoption, the stars are using their power to give animals a voice.
Here are 3 celebrities who are leading the pack when it comes to promoting pet adoption and rescue initiatives:
“Shelter Me” is a TV series created to shed light on the benefits of adopting animals from shelters by sharing uplifting, true success stories. It’s no secret that funny man George Lopez loves animals. All you have to do is follow him on his social media to see that. From hosting the “World Dog Awards” to adopting a little pup of his own, Mr. Lopez is continuously working to help the cause. He is also a large supporter of the Animal Rescue Foundation, which strives to bring people and pets together to enrich each other’s lives.
