Eligibility
Nutrience x Refuge Magoo Contest. No purchase necessary. Open only to legal residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their respective province at the time of entry. The Entrant must follow the Nutrience and Refuge Magoo pages on the Social Media outlet he/she is participating on [Instagram] and comment under the relevant contest post to be eligible to win the prize. Nutrience x Refuge Magoo Contest is in no way endorsed or sponsored by Instagram.
By entering the Contest, the Entrant consents to the release of their personal information. The Entrant acknowledges to have complied with these Contest Rules.
Employees of Rolf C. Hagen Inc, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
How to Enter
Within the contest period, the Entrant must follow Nutrience and Refuge Magoo’s Instagram pages and comment under the relevant contest post to be eligible to win the prize. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified herein, to be eligible to win the prize bundle. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these terms may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Rolf C. Hagen Inc.
You may not enter more times by using multiple fake identities, second accounts may lead to void entries. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Rolf C. Hagen Inc.
By entering, the Entrant warrants that the Entry:
- does not include (or link to) any content that contravenes any law, infringes the rights of any person or is obscene, offensive, discriminatory, indecent or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate. Without limitation, Entrants must not include (or include a link to) any content that involves malice, swearing or which may be defamatory or in contempt of court.
- contains no viruses or other computer code or material embedded in it which may have a negative impact on the Sponsor’s website, this Contest or any network or third-party computer systems.
Contest Period
Contest starts at 9:00 AM EST on June 1st, 2023, and ends at 11:59 PM EST on June 8th, 2023.
Donation
Nutrience will donate $1 to Refuge Magoo for every comment received on the Instagram’s contest post during the contest period up to $5,000.
Prizes
The Winner will be announced the next day after 10 AM EST following the closing date of the contest.
The Winner will receive different prizes of Nutrience products for dog or cat. Once the winner is selected, Rolf C. Hagen Inc. will manage prize distribution based on each winner’s pets.
The specific of each prize is solely determined by Rolf C. Hagen Inc. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Rolf C. Hagen Inc.’s discretion. Each prize is non-transferable. If the Winners are unable to redeem their prize (for any reason) the monetary value will not be paid out, nor will an alternate prize be provided. If applicable, any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, provincial, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winners.
No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by the Winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Nutrience to use each Winner’s name, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Rolf C. Hagen Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal value if a prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason.
1 x 10 kg bag of Nutrience kibble (or 5kg for cat) + 2 x Nutrience freeze-dried dog/cat treats + 2 x dog/cat toy (valued at $150)
Odds
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received on or before the applicable Contest closing date.
Winner(s) Selection & Notification
The Winner will be selected randomly on June 9th, 2023, 1 business day after the contest period ends.
The Winner will be publicly announced via Nutrience’s Instagram page with instructions on how to claim their prize. If the Winner does not accept their prize within fifteen (15) days, or eligibility is not met, or fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. A replacement winner will not be chosen in this case. If the selected contest Winner does not comply with the Rules and Regulations, the selected Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and the Contest Sponsor shall be entitled to select a new name from the qualified Entrants.
ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (AT ROLF C. HAGEN INC.’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE CONTEST, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Limitations
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Rolf C. Hagen Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.
Modification/Termination
Subject to applicable law, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to terminate or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, or modify the Rules and Regulations of the Contest at any time without notice, if fraud, technical failures including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming or communications or any other errors or other cause beyond the control of the Sponsor that corrupts the administration, integrity or security of the Contest or if any other factor interferes with the conduct of this Contest as stipulated by these Rules and Regulations, or for any other reason at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. In such event, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, choose to select winners via random drawing from among all eligible entries received up until the time of cancellation, termination, modification or suspension.
